Wounds in "Arendsoog"-series?
« Gepost op: 05 maart 2012, 20:49:58 »

Yep, i´m writing in english, am aware of that so no need to comment that :)
Stupid question long in my mind and never really answered, is there any book in the series where the two heroes are injured anywhere else than in arm or hip? I can´t remember any!

I remember injuries from part 1, 5, 8, and that´s like all. For some reason i love those books where either of the heroes recieve a wound that is a little more serious than a bump to the head, most often shotgun wounds (I think that i am appealed by the touch of reality this gives to the books, and the glimpses of the deep friendship between the two heroes that i find most appearent in these situations.)

So, a macabre plea - is there anyone out there whom could consider to list all, or some, or mention one, of the books where either of the heroes are wounded? I´m talking about the whole series from 1 to 63. A strange request, i know, but if you´re feelin up to it i would be most grateful! :)

You want us to reply in English as well or are we allowed to write in Dutch? Presumably you understand Dutch as you were able to read the books and with all our research we never succeed to trace a translation in English...

There are certainly more books in the series in which our heroes got wounded. Mostly those injuries are not too serious. Not too big a surprise as getting shot in the body would cause rather critical injuries and that would at least dramatacally slow down the 'speed' of the story :P

Either language´s cool, understand both but prefer to write in english :) Yup, but you´ve got to admit it´s funny in all western series and not just this one. The bad guys are aiming for the body, but always manage to hit an arm, that´s considerably less of a target ;D
